Woman killed in shooting outside southwest Houston senior care facility

Police are investigating a deadly shooting outside a senior care facility in southwest Houston.

Officers arrived early on Thursday morning to Seven Acres Jewish Senior Care Services on North Braeswood Boulevard near Bob White Drive.

The female victim, who was identified as a "private nurse," was shot in the stomach and died. FOX 26 News was told she was a private duty sitter at the facility.

Police had reported that the woman's husband was seen leaving the area.

The suspect, Anthony Authorlee, 61, is in custody and is facing a charge of murder in the death of his wife, 53-year-old Senta Yolanda Authorlee.

Investigators discovered several shell casings on scene.
