White Oak Bayou: Man's body recovered from vehicle found in Houston bayou

A tragic discovery was made after authorities pulled a vehicle out of the water on Friday afternoon.

HOUSTON - The Houston Police Department has confirmed the body of a man has been pulled from a vehicle that was found in White Oak Bayou.

Officials were called out to the 2200 block of Paterson after receiving a call around 2 p.m. stating a car was in the bayou.

After authorities pulled the vehicle from the bayou, they found what appeared to be a man's body.

The exact cause of death has not been determined as the Medical Examiner will be investigating.
