What happened to 14-year-old Erica Garcia?

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - It's an 18-year-old murder mystery...what happened to 14-year-old Erica Garcia?

The middle school student was out partying with several friends back in 1997 when she disappeared.

Garcia's partially nude body was found in an abandoned hospital on Bellaire near Boone. Investigators say the former cheerleader was strangled to death.

Erica's mom says she was at a teen club with friends who all said they didn't see anything.
