Was That Fake?

Should you enter your PIN backwards if someone is robbing you at an ATM? A story that is getting shared says doing that will secretly alert police and the money will get stuck in the machine as it records photos of the incident. The concept is real, but the execution of it is not true. Automated teller machines do not have this feature. The myth started in 2006 when a Chicago business owner patented the technology and tried to lobby for its use, according to WalletHub. The problem was that banks felt it would be more expensive to implement and would put a robbery victim in more danger. Do not share this story as it will not be an option any time soon.
