Suspect in custody after leading police on vehicle chase
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Officers have taken a suspect into custody after he led them on a road chase, drove through the field of a residential neighborhood and abandoned a silver sport utility vehicle.
The chase began before 4:30 p.m. Friday in the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and West Airport in southeast Houston.
The suspect drove off FM 518 and into the neighborhood. Pearland police and the Houston Police Department K-9 unit assisted in the search for the driver.
