SEPTA passenger stabbed in the back of the head with screwdriver in Germantown

Police are investigating after a SEPTA passenger was allegedly stabbed in the back of the head with a screwdriver in Germantown.

The incident occurred just after 8 a.m. near West Logan Street and Germantown Avenue.

SEPTA spokeswoman Carla Showell-Lee says the 19-year-old victim was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where he received four stitches to the slash wounds on his lip.

The other man fled and is being sought. No arrests have been made at this time.
