Police: Ga. fugitive captured in West Virginia

Police have arrested an Atlanta fugitive wanted for aggravated assault and child cruelty in West Virginia.

Officials say that 47-year-old Michael Colclough had been wanted by the Atlanta Police Department for an incident on July 10.

After an investigation discovered that Colclough had fled Georgia to West Virginia, the APD asked the The U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force to help find him.

Marshals arrested Colclough at a place of business in Martinsburg, West Virginia, where officials believe he had been hired.

The suspect is now awaiting extradition back to Atlanta at the Eastern Regional Jail in Martinsburg.
