One death in northeast Houston house fire

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - One person has died following a fire at a home in northeast Houston, according to the Houston Fire Department. Firefighters arrived at around 9:43 a.m. Tuesday to find heavy flames coming from the home on Bunte Street near Lockwood Drive. The structure was left with fire, smoke and water damage.
When firefighters conducted a primary search of the home at around 10:04 a.m. Tuesday, they found one body. They declared the fire under control a few minutes later. The HFD Arson Bureau will conduct an investigation into the fire.
