Man arrested in murder-for-hire of Dallas dentist
DALLAS (AP) — Police in Dallas say a man has been arrested in the murder-for-hire shooting death of a pediatric dentist and an arrest warrant has been issued for a woman suspected of hiring him.
Maj. Max Geron said 31-year-old Kristopher Love has been charged with capital murder in the Sept. 2 death of Kendra Hatcher. Geron said Love, also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, has been identified as the person who shot Hatcher in her apartment complex's parking garage.
He said that when Love was arrested, he was in possession of the gun believed to have killed the 35-year-old victim.
Love was in Dallas County jail on $2.5 million bond. Jail records didn't list an attorney.
An arrest warrant on a capital murder charge was issued for a woman accused of planning the killing. She remains a fugitive.
