While out on a run, singer Julie Price encountered what many women across the world do on any given day — catcalling.

She decided to ignore the man who was yelling, “Sexy lady, hey hey hey sexy lady!”

After being ignored, the man she described as “well-dressed” and who “appeared to be on his lunch break from an office job” changed his tune yelling at her, “Eff you, dumb B****!”

Price says in a post recounting the incident on her Facebook page that just when she was about to go over to the man and lay into him a little boy walking nearby with his mother and little sister in a stroller stepped in.

According to Price he said, “Hey, that is not nice to say to her and she didn’t like you yelling at her. You shouldn’t do that because she is a nice girl and I don’t let anyone say mean things to people. She’s a girl like my sister and I will protect her.”

The little boy named James then told Price, “Well, I just wanted to make sure your heart was okay.”
