Investigators working to find cause of 12-alarm fire
The flames are out at the Flochem plant located between Brookshire in Katy on FM 529. Investigators are working this morning to see what started the fire. The flames started last night, and grew to a 12 alarm fire, some in the area reported hearing an explosion. The company manufactures a pipeline additive. A precautionary shelter in place was issued and lasted about 3 hours.
