Double shooting leaves one man dead and a woman's body found in apartment

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A man is dead and another is seriously injured after a double shooting in Spring Branch. It happened around 4:00 a.m. on Crestdale near Lively. Police say one man was found shot to death inside a car. A second man was shot several times in the abdomen and was brought to the hospital in serious condition.  HPD homicide is investigating.

 Homicide is also investigating the suspicious death of a woman in northwest Houston. Around 4 this morning police discovered the body of a woman  at the Castlewood apartment complex on West view. It is unclear how the woman died, but there appears to be trauma to her head and face.
