Confederate Heroes day, time for a change or let the tribute remain?

In an era when monuments to leaders of the Confederacy are being removed from communities across the nation, thousands of state employees in Texas were given a paid day off Friday in celebration of Confederate Heroes Day. A benefit subsidized by millions of taxpayers who find the concept offensive.
