Back-to-school Backpack Boosters: Help Houston students start year off right

HOUSTON, TX - Kroger and FOX 26 are helping students start the school year off right with Backpack Boosters.

From July 27 through August 7, you can help Houston students by purchasing a pre-packaged school supply kit or use the scan cards at the cash register and donate $1, $3 or $5 at your closest Kroger store.

Supplies will be distributed to students in Houston-area districts. The prepackaged kits contain paper, notebooks, folders, pens, pencils erasers and index cards.
