Soggy Sunday in Houston

Sunday:

Scattered showers moved across the region ahead of a cold front on Sunday. Houston can expect patchy fog with a few lingering showers Sunday night into early on Monday.

Wet and warm week ahead:

Southeast Texas will see the return of temperatures in the 60s and 70s for highs and wake up temperatures in the 50s this upcoming week.

Monday and Tuesday will feature the chance for an isolated shower or two, but heavier rain is set to move in Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We will likely see rainfall totals up to 3 to 5 inches during that timeframe.

Long term forecast in Houston:

Our latest long range models do show that the next 6 to 10 days will feature temperatures above average. They also show that we will likely be in a wetter weather pattern, so I would make sure you keep your umbrella handy because you will likely need it.
