Houston weather: Rain in the forecast this weekend

Skies will be clear on Friday, but rain chances increase heading into the weekend.

Saturday:

Clouds will be on the increase throughout the day Saturday, with a few showers possible early. There's a better chance for showers Saturday evening and Saturday night. Temperatures will climb to the low to middle 60s by Saturday afternoon. 

Sunday:

Wetter and warmer weather is on the way Sunday.  Sunday will bring widespread rain, the potential for isolated street flooding and lightning strikes as a front sweeps across Southeast Texas. Any training storms could bring rainfall totals to 2"+. Download the FOX 26 Weather App to monitor the radar this weekend. Highs will soar to the above seasonal upper 60s by Sunday. 

Monday: 

Rain will be less widespread. But some clouds will remain and temperatures will climb to the 60s. Rain chances will be around 30%.
