Morning rain and storms dumped around a half-inch to two inches of rain across SE Houston. Gusts near 60 mph were also reported in Palacios & Galveston. Weather should stay quiet through tonight with only a 10% chance for a shower or storm. Severe storms are not likely. High pressure builds in which should keep us hotter and drier the next few days.
