Houston weather: Mild Friday night with temps in 50s

Friday night is mostly cloudy and mild with temperatures near 55. Wind switches from South to West as cold front moves through. Rain chances are at 20% early Saturday with the cold front sweeping through by late Saturday morning. Temperatures climbing to near 60 Saturday. For the Houston Marathon, temperatures will be much colder, middle to upper 30s with wind chills in the upper 20s. It will be breezy with gusts of 20-25 mph.

On Friday, increasing clouds as temperatures rise to near 70 on Friday ahead of our next cold front. There is a 30% chance of showers Friday night. Rain chances are at 30% early Saturday with the cold front sweeping through by Saturday afternoon. Temperatures climbing to the low 60s early Saturday. We could be seeing highs in the 70s as early as Friday and into Saturday, but looking at our extended forecast the next 10 to 14 days, another Arctic blast making its way across the United States. And it looks like mostly everybody except the peninsula of Florida is going to be seeing temperatures below seasonal.
