HEAT ADVISORY remains in effect until 10 PM Tuesday for all of SE Texas. That means combined temperature and humidity values could result in "feels like" temps around 108-112 which is still in the danger zone. So continue to practice heat safety by drinking lots of water, taking frequent breaks while working outside, checking on sick and elderly neighbors, and checking your car for kids and/or pets before walking away. We remain stuck in the same weather pattern through the end of the work week with highs near 100 and heat indices 108+. Weather pattern shifts a bit this weekend with high pressure sliding west. This will allow for more clouds and better rain and storm chances, especially by Sunday and Monday. So hang on....some relief is possible this weekend!
