FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

HEAT ADVISORY has been extended through 10 PM Thursday for all of SE Texas with heat index values of 108-112 still likely. We will remain stuck in this stagnant weather pattern through the end of the work week with little relief in sight. Slight pattern change is in store for the weekend and early next week as big area of high pressure near west Texas shifts west. That will allow for a few more clouds and a better chance for spotty showers and storms this weekend. It will still be hot but hopefully the rain will provide some temporary relief from this relentless heat wave.
