More eligible K-12 students can now get school breakfast and lunch at no cost for the next two school years, thanks to nearly $20 million in the new state budget. No Kid Hungry Texas and Representative Armando Walle have been advocating to expand this program. Stacie Sanchez Hare, the Director of No Kid Hungry Texas, talked with Consumer Reporter Heather Sullivan about it.

BakerRipley says that there are seeing a rising number of seniors arriving at their Senior Health and Wellness Center for congregate meals, which is a free meal for seniors.
