A march in honor of two graduates from Yates High is bringing officers together with the community. HPD Sgt. Harold Preston and George Floyd grew up in Third Ward, both graduated from Yates and unfortunately, both were killed in 2020. Floyd was killed by a police officer and Preston was a police officer killed in the line of duty.
