Houston Rockets, Demarcus Cousins to part ways

HOUSTON - The Houston Rockets will part ways with Demarcus Cousins via trade or release NBA sources confirmed to FOX 26. 

Cousins, 30, has been with the team for just one season.

The Rockets organization agreed to guarantee his salary because they appreciated his 'professionalism.' 

He averaged 9.6 points and 7.6 rebounds this season over the span of 25 games with the Rockets this season.
