Hillsborough County deputies said Marisol Best shot and killed her in-laws in their Riverview home.

Marisol Best faced a judge at the Hillsborough County Jail Saturday morning. She was ordered to be held without bond after being charged with two counts of murder.

According to investigators, the murders happened Wednesday at the home of Virgil and Shirley Best.

"She was upset about some of the negative comments they were making about their son got angry and took our anger on in-laws," said HCSO Col. Donna Lusczynski.

The argument was over her husband, Robert Best's, upcoming court date in Polk County.  It involves alleged sex acts with a minor.  Deputies say she admitted to getting so angry that she retrieved a gun and shot both of them.

"We still have to prosecute this case in court - we're not going give every detail of that conversation but that is shocking a normal person wouldn't respond that way," the Colonel said.

The next day, before his court appearance, the apparently unaware Robert and Marisol went to his parents' house to pray with them. That's when he found them shot to death. Deputies are still reviewing evidence from the scene.

Officials tell FOX 13 Marisol admitted to the killings. Robert was also arrested, according to HCSO, for missing his Polk County court appearance.
