Two firefighters injured in two-alarm apartment fire
HOUSTON - At least two firefighters have been taken to the hospital after battling a two-alarm fire in northwest Houston.
The fire is reported at an apartment complex off 2900 Trail Hollow Drive.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital due to a knee injury.
The other firefighter was taken because of heat exhaustion.
The fire was reported around 3:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon, and was declared under control around 4:30 p.m.
Several apartments were affected by the flames.
We are told Red Cross was called to aid the victims of the fire.
