One person is dead and another hurt after a home invasion in northwest Harris county. Police were called to a neighborhood off highway 529 and Queenston blvd.at around 3:30 this morning. When they arrived, they found two people shot at the scene.

Santa Fe police are looking for the person who struck and killed a teenager. It happened last night along FM 646 and Sunset Circle. We're told two teens were riding bicycles when a dark colored truck hit one of them. The driver took off. The truck may have damage from the incident.

A funeral will be held this weekend for a college football player who was fatally shot by a Texas police officer answering a burglary call at an Arlington car dealership. An official at the church in Arlington says the service for 19-year-old Christian Taylor will be tomorrow. The rookie police officer who shot the Angelo state university student was fired Tuesday.
