The heat is on--Woodlands hit by water restrictions

The Woodlands Municipal District has released the following statement regarding water conservation:

August 5,2015 – The Woodlands Township has received notice that Stage 1 Voluntary Water Restrictions are in effect as of August 4, 2015.

Your water supplier, Harris-Montgomery Counties Municipal Utility District No. 386, has triggered Stage 1 of its Drought Contingency Plan for customers in Creekside Park, Carlton Woods at Creekside Park, and commercial properties within the District due to high irrigation demand.

Please adhere to the following Voluntary Water Restrictions for all landscaped and other areas:

Residential customers with even numbered addresses may irrigate Sundays and Thursdays between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Residential customers with odd-numbered addresses may irrigate Saturdays and Wednesdays between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Commercial customers may irrigate Tuesdays and Fridays between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.
