Teacher removed, charged in improper relationship with student

The 2016 school year has only just begun, but one woman has since been removed from the classroom after she was charged in an improper relationship with a Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District student.

Nicole Allyson Jakubiak, 36, was charged and released on a $20,000 bond. 

Nicole Ray, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD assistant superintendent of communication and community relations, released the following statement on Monday:

A Harris County Assistant District Attorney said that Jakubiak engaged in sexual intercourse with a secondary school student on May 18, according to the probable cause document filed in the case against her.
