Student brings handgun to Pearland High school
PEARLAND, TX - Pearland police officers are now on the scene, investigating a Crime Stopper tip regarding a handgun being brought to Pearland High School.
On Friday, March 9th 2018, Pearland Police School Resource Officers assigned to Pearland High School (3775 S Main St, Pearland TX 77581) made contact with a student who was believed to be in possession of a firearm. The 15-yr-old student was located and a firearm was found in his possession.
At this time there is no threat to the school or students on campus and there are no reports of injuries. The investigation is ongoing and additional details will be provided as they are made known.
