Sexual assault, angry 911 call and a 4th grader selling marijuana in school

WACO, Texas (AP) — The 20-year-old president of a Baylor University fraternity has been charged with sexual assault after a woman accused him of forcing himself on her outside a fraternity party. Phi Delta Theta president Jacob Walter Anderson was arrested Thursday. Mike Wahba, Phi Delta Theta national chapter services director, tells the Waco Tribune-Herald that the Baylor chapter's activities have been suspended until police complete their investigation.

HUMBLE, Texas (AP) — A 45-year-old nurse has been charged in the sexual assault of a patient at a hospital in the Harris County city of Humble. Humble Police Department spokesman Ken Theis identified the man charged with sexual assault as Brandon Faunce. He was arrested Friday. Faunce is being held at the Harris County Jail on $100,000 bail. It is unclear if he has an attorney.

AMARILLO, Texas (AP) — A Texas Panhandle city manager has apologized for becoming angry with 911 operators while reporting a briefcase missing from his hotel room. Terry Childers has been living at a hotel while serving as Amarillo's interim city manager. At a news conference Friday, he said he had left his briefcase, containing his wallet, in the hallway outside the door to his room when his key card failed to work.
