Minor at Lamar HS transported to hospital after possible vaping incident: HFD
HOUSTON - The Houston Fire Department responded to an EMS call at Lamar High School after a possible vaping incident and transported a patient, who is a minor, to Texas Children's Hospital.
Students FOX 26 spoke with off-camera say they believe this is the second time a student was hospitalized due to what they believe was a vaping incident, but that information has not been confirmed at this time.
The condition of the minor is unknown.
FOX 26 received the following statement from Houston Independent School District:
"A student at Lamar High School was transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure after they reported feeling ill. The district is working to determine what caused the incident. No other students have reported any illness related to the incident. The health, wellness and safety of our students is always our top priority."
