Mattress Mack remembers the extraordinary legacy of Barbara Bush

HOUSTON, TX - Houston's Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale remembers beloved Former First Lady, Barbara Bush as inspiration for all Houstonians. "A woman who worked tirelessly. A great role model for us all." McIngvale has known the Bush family for more than 20 years.

In McIngvale's interview with Fox 26's Tom Zizka, he discussed how much Barbara Bush gave to the city of Houston. "She was a champion of literacy. She loved the Astros. She loved the Texans...We’re a world-class City because of people like Mrs.Bush."

McIngvale added that he wanted his children to see her as a Houston role model and follow in her footsteps. “I hope that my children to emulate the incredible virtues of Barbara Bush."
