HPD: 4 juvenile suspects in custody after 2 carjackings
Police say four juvenile suspects are in custody after they carjacked a pizza delivery driver, fired shots at another man, and then carjacked another vehicle in west Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, a pizza delivery driver was going to make a delivery around 1:30 a.m. when four armed males approached him and stole his silver Impala.
While police were looking for the car, they got a report of a shooting nearby. Police say a friend of the victim found the Impala, but the suspects shot at him as he approached and then fled.
Around 3:30 a.m., police say a man and a woman were going inside their apartment when they were approached by the four males who took their Toyota Tacoma.
HPD says officers located both vehicles traveling together and followed both of them to separate locations. Two juvenile suspects were taken into custody from each vehicle.
