H-E-B recalls certain baked goods over salmonella concerns
HOUSTON (TX) - H-E-B grocery stores have issued a recall Friday for several bakery products made with ingredients from Valley Milk Products because of a potential salmonella contamination.
The voluntary recall come after the Food and Drug Administration discovered traces of salmonella bacteria in certain Valley Milk Products items during a routine test, according to the H-E-B news release.
While no illnesses have been reported from the products, H-E-B says they have removed all Valley Milk Products from H-E-B stores. Customers can return the products in-store for a full refund.
Products from the H-E-B and Mi Tienda bakeries with the following UPC codes are impacted by the recall:
