They may be middle school students, but according to deputy constables they are already hardcore criminals. Authorities have connected six juveniles to nine robberies, but think the real number is closer to 25. 

The mayor of Livingston shot a monstrous 12-foot alligator on her ranch yesterday morning. She believes the 580-pound male gator killed her miniature horse three years ago. She's been trying to catch the culprit every gator season since.

Galveston ISD Police arrested a Ball High School student today, after finding an unloaded handgun on campus. While they searched for the weapon, the school was placed on lockdown.

The FBI is seeing a spike in the number of threats made against schools. Today, they launched a new public awareness campaign called #ThinkBeforeYouPost. It warns students that fake threats will result in serious consequences.

Some are calling it a slap in the face to Houston firefighters. Mayor Sylvester Turner agreed to a seven percent pay raise for Houston Police, while continuing to campaign against a ballot initiative that would give a much bigger raise to firefighters.
