A Houston police officer is now the seventh law enforcement officer arrested for DWI since August. Claude Jackson was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and evading arrest Sunday.

Today marks one year since the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, when a gunman opened fire on concert-goers in Las Vegas. A Spring woman was there, and said all she could think about was seeing her daughters again.

Houston now has a rare program that provides treatment for mental health instead of jail time. The Judge Ed Emmett Mental Health Diversion Center celebrated its grand opening today.

Over the weekend, a man jumped out of his car to save a double amputee in a wheelchair. The man in the wheelchair was crossing the railroad tracks while a train was approaching.
