Governor Greg Abbott unveiled a $120 million plan to make Texas schools safer, and presented 40 specific recommendations.

Nearly 500 homeowners in the Woodlands are suing one of the largest developers in the area, saying their homes were knowingly built on areas that would flood. The homeowners filed a civil suit against the Woodlands Development Company, the Howard Hughes Corporation, and LJA Engineering for negligence and deceptive trade practices.
