The rain is gone, but flooding concerns are still an issue along the West Fork of the San Jacinto River, where some areas picked up five inches of rain Wednesday night. The flood control district expects the river to peak this evening.

Seven people had to be arrested after a possible tornado in Rockport destroyed the second floor of a home.

Pasadena Police are investigating a deadly officer involved shooting. Police said a driver pulled a gun on an officer after being stopped for running a stop sign, and police shot and killed the driver.

A Harris County Sheriff's Deputy is facing three felony counts of child pornography. 46-year-old Donald Dehnert was arrested and appeared in court today. He has been relieved of duty.

8-year-old Tristian Hutchins has died after being shot in the head earlier this month during a drive by shooting.

Another classmate of Katy ISD Superintendent Lance Hindt says he was once a brutal bully. Judge David Carpenter presides over a criminal court in Alabama. He attended Taylor High School with Hindt and said he witnessed the football star's predatory behavior.

The owner of Little Jackets Nest daycare in Alvin is shutting down after video of two workers laughing at a soiled, sick baby went viral. She said she's received death threats and parents began pulling their kids from the daycare.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation is suing the Harris County Voter Registrar's Office. Each county should have a paper trail of the work they've done to make sure lists of registered voters are current, but so far, the legal group says Harris County is refusing to make that information public.
