A man is charged with the murder of his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend in Katy on Thursday morning. According to Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies, 38-year-old Godson Akran went to his ex-girlfriend's house at about 4:30 a.m., went into the kitchen, grabbed a knife and stabbed her new boyfriend to death.

Katy Independent School District leaders are hoping to crack down on bullying. Students can now anonymously report bullying on the Katy On The Go app Bullying Tipline.

Houstonians are working hard to convince the Democratic National Committee to hold its next convention here. There was a huge pep rally for the selection committee outside the Toyota Center on Thursday morning.
