FBI releases final 9/11 Review Commission report

"I am pleased the Review Commission recognized the significant progress we have made to build a threat-based, intelligence-driven law enforcement and national security organization," said FBI Director James B. Comey. "I thank the commissioners and their staff for their efforts to help us better serve and protect the American public."

Former U.S. Attorney General was among the three experts who led the review, in addition to former Congressman and ambassador Timothy J. Roemer and Bruce Hoffman, a Georgetown University professor and author. The Commission visited many FBI offices throughout the U.S. and in foreign countries.
