Houston: The New Face of America
As part of FOX 26 News' look at the diversity of our community, we wanted to talk to high school students to learn how they are affected by the differences they face in school. With the help of Houston Independent School District trustee Wanda Adams, we brought together a group of students from Westbury High School. What we heard brought us to tears.
In this series of stories, you will see how racial and ethnic differences have led to a lot of emotional suffering. It was clear that a lot more needs to be done to make sure students in Houston can live and learn together in a harmonious atmosphere.
