14-year-old boy shot at Haviland Park

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police say the boy was playing basketball with friends at Haviland Park, when a car drove up and started shooting at another group of people. The boy was hit by a stray bullet and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.

The boy was met by his parents at the hospital, and he is expected to be okay.
