1 dead, 2 injured in suspected home invasion in SE Houston, police say
HOUSTON - A woman has been killed Friday night in southeast Houston after what police suspect is a home invasion, where two others were also injured.

Authorities were called out to a home in the 7800 block of Elvera St. near Pecan Park around 11:30 p.m. for calls of a shooting. When they arrived, officials say they found three people with gunshot wounds.
An unidentified woman was rushed to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Two other people, both 20 and 17-years-old were taken to the hospital in stable condition and are expected to survive.
It's unclear what led up to the incident, but preliminary information suggests it was a home invasion. No other information was provided, as of this writing.
