Promoting early intervention and prevention for e-cig use

We've seen some scary headlines over the past few weeks involving vaping.

Multiple deaths have been reported as well as several e-cigarette related injuries. The Houston Health Department confirms three young people were hospitalized within the last month for vaping-related illnesses.

The use of the devices has increased dramatically, especially among teens.

Doctors are doing what they can to take preventative action.

Dr. Jane Montealegre with the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine was on Houston's Morning Show to talk about the importance of implementing programs to curb teen e-cigarette use.
