A Happy and Healthy Halloween-Tips To Treats That Taste Good & Are Good For You
HOUSTON - Are you afraid this Halloween season of your child filling up on all that junk food? Fear no longer. The Nutrition Mom, Stephanie Merchant, has some ideas to ensure a Happy and Healthy Halloween.
Some of her spooktacular creations include a green slime looking smoothie that's perfect for Halloween. It's actually made with peanut butter, bananas, spinach, apple and almond milk and kids love it!
She uses a cookie cutter for cute little ghost cut out tortilla chips to dip guacamole.
The nutrition mom tops caramel or candy apples with a stick from the yard.
A piece of celery tops peeled nectarines to look like pumpkins.
Orange peppers can also be dressed up for the holiday to look like jack-o-lanterns, some with black bean noodles spilling over the top.
