Houston weather: When was the last time it snowed in Houston?
HOUSTON - This week's snowfall has many thinking back about the last time that we saw snow in Houston.
It has been a while since we've seen anything other than trace amounts of snow.
When was the last time it snowed in Houston?

Before this week, Houston most recently saw snow during the February 2021 freeze.
One inch fell in Houston on February 15, 2021, when the cold weather crippled the Texas power grid.
Houston area snowfall totals (as of 5 p.m.)
The National Weather Service says most of the Houston area saw two to four inches of snow.
There is a band of snow where people saw a bit more, with three to four inches falling.
Some isolated spots saw more snow, with Baytown reporting 5.5 inches!
