Houston weather: Showers to return Sunday afternoon, near seasonal temps next week

The Brief

    • Chilly Saturday night, but not as cold as Saturday morning.
    • Showers to move back into Southeast Texas on Sunday.
    • Temperatures are slowly rising to near seasonal next week.

HOUSTON - We'll see rain return to Southeast Texas on Sunday afternoon. Look for most of the coverage to be near the coast.

Chances you'll see rain are 40% with morning temperatures being in the upper 30s with highs reaching the mid-50s.

You can expect the weather this upcoming week to be a bit closer to ‘normal’ for this time of year.
