Happy Super Bowl Sunday! You can watch the big game and post-game festivities right here on FOX 26!

Super Bowl Sunday rain chances:

A cold front will get closer to the Houston area on Sunday night. There is the chance for a few light showers later that evening.

After temperatures near 80 today, we will dip to the upper 60s tonight with muggy air staying in place.

For anyone in New Orleans for the big game, you can expect temperatures in the mid 70s for kickoff, near 70 degrees at halftime and 60s for any celebrations after the game.

Pattern change next week:

Get the umbrellas ready for work week plans! Showers and storms are likely by Tuesday and Wednesday of this week with some heavy rain possible. The rain will also hold temperatures in the 60s and 70s, followed by chilly air on Thursday for Valentine's Day. Lows could drop back into the 40s. Keep your jackets handy.
