This morning is a FOX 26 Storm Alert Day. Showers and strong storms continue to move across Houston, bringing heavy rain, strong wind gusts, and frequent lightning. The showers and storms will clear to our east by 10/11 am, ushering in much drier air. There are so many Mardi Gras events in Galveston this weekend. We could see lingering showers through lunchtime with breezes. The remainder of the weekend will be breezy and mostly dry.
