Although no extreme cold is expected, the combination of clouds, rain and shifting winds should bring temperatures closer to normal for February. Highs will range from near 70 Tuesday, middle to upper 70s Wednesday and back to the 50s by Thursday.

Record highs were set again on Thursday with a high of 83 in Houston, 77 for Galveston and 85 in College Station which broke a 135 year old record. We came close to Houston's s record high today of 86 set back in 2017 but didn't quite reach it. Expect two more very warm days with highs in the low to mid 80s Saturday and Super Bowl Sunday.
